1955: The foundation
Civil engineer Hinrich König founds König KG Baugeschäft in Stade on January 2, 1955.
1987: Expansion and new management
On July 1, Dr. Jürgen König becomes Managing Director of König KG GmbH & Co.
1990: Second mainstay and internationalization
Foundation of König GmbH in Werder (Havel).
1995: Centralization and growth
Relocation of the head office to Stader Elbstraße 4 in 2683 Stade.
2003: Further expansion and market establishment
Opening of the branch office in Oberhausen and the representative office in Vienna, Austria.
2009: Generation change and new expertise
Dipl. Ing. Günther Heitmann and Stefan Lewandrowski become managing directors of König GmbH on 01.02.2009.
2021: Continuation of the successful course
M. Sc. Jan Heitmann becomes Managing Director on January 1, 2021 alongside Günther Heitmann and Stefan Lewandrowski. Günther Heitmann will leave the Management Board on June 30, 2021 and will remain with the company in an advisory capacity.
